"If you view rich people as bad in any way, shape or form,
and you want to be a good person, then you can never be rich."
This is the harsh truth we learn from Harv in this chapter.
He says you cannot be something you despise.
You can not blame rich people for your poverty. That's a result result of your own actions. Remember we spoke about responsibility for your own actions? If you're not happy with your station in life, then you have to take new actions so you can achieve new results.
Do you entertain thoughts that empower you or disempower you?
You have to notice when your thoughts disempower you so you can quickly turn it around and focus on thoughts that empower you.
Harv goes on to quote Russell Conwell who said, "
Money is power, and you ought to be reasonably ambitious to have it. You ought to because you can do more good with it than you can without it."
Harv invites you to practice admiring rich people instead of resenting them. He says you must bless that which you want. In so doing, you will attract more of it to you. Remember, you get what you focus on. If you focus on the negative aspects of wealth, you will resent the rich, and thereby repel wealth. If you focus on the positive aspects (like our friend Russell Conwell), then you will admire rich people, and thereby learn to think and act like they do - and you will most likely be rich yourself.
