Are you a solutions architect or a problem warrior. I said that wrong. Usually they say, "Are you a warrior or a worrier?" A worrier just worries all day, every day, while a warrior finds solutions.
You don't have to choose between money and love. You can have both.
You don't have to choose between money and health. You can have both.
You don't have to choose between money and happiness, you can have both.
Start thinking both, instead of either/or
Harv reiterates that money is important. He says it's like a lubricant,
it allows you to slide through life instead of having to scrape by.
Money brings freedom - freedom to buy what you want,
and freedom to do what you want with your time.
Harv asks an important question,
"What is the use of having your cake if you can't eat it too?
Are you supposed to put it on your mantel and look at it?
Are you supposed to paint the wall with it so it attracts ants?"
Money doesn't get depleted. It goes through hundreds of people and creates value for all of them. You get the product you bought, and the seller can now use that same money to buy something valuable for themselves. And it keeps circulating in this way, and it keeps creating value in its path.
Rev. Ike says you must eliminate the word 'spend' from your vocabulary. Instead, say, 'circulate' because this is what money does. It circulates. When you spend it, it's gone forever. but when you circulate it, it goes around and comes back to you multiplied. And that's what creates wealth - the multiplication. We want our money to multiply.
