If you want to create wealth you must be in charge of your financial destiny. You must take the reins and steer in the direction you want your life to go.

What is your primary strategy for success? Is it something you can control and influence or is it totally out of your hands? Are you waiting for the right kind of luck to fall upon you or are  you making plans and tackling life's challenges head on? Are you creating wealth or allowing mediocrity to wreak havoc in your life?

Jack Canfield says that you either create or allow everything that happens in your life. Playing the victim will not change your circumstances. You have to take back control starting today.

1. Blame:
Victims are always pointing the finger

at someone else, never themselves.

2. Justifying:
They pretend as if they don't really care

about money, or that it's not important.

Harv says, "Money is extremely important in the areas in which it works, and extremely unimportant in the areas in which it doesn't." And trust me, it works in many more areas than we are prepared to admit.

3. Complaining:
What you focus on expands. If you spend all your time complaining, you will attract more things to complain about. Don't be a complainer. And also stay away from complainers.

Harv gives you an assignment. He says don't complain for the next seven days.  Don't complain out loud. Don't complain in your mind. Don't join in when the people around you start complaining. Go on a complaint fast for the next seven days. And see if you can stretch it to 14, maybe 21, maybe 99.

Remember, you create your wealth, your poverty and everything in between. Stop complaining, justifying and blaming if you're not getting the results you want.  Start acting and thinking differently.
