What does that mean?
In The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace D. Wattles says:
“There is a science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws that govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty.”
SUCCESS IS A MATTER OF ATTITUDE
Almost everything you can think of doing
in life has been attempted before.
There is a reason why some people succeed where many others have failed. In most cases, it has nothing to do with one’s innate abilities, birth-rights or natural talents. It’s about recognizing and harnessing your positive characteristics. This will greatly improve your chances
of being successful.
Many successful people have said that the road to success is simple, direct and sometimes boring. Achieving success is simply a matter
of eliciting a winning formula, developing a plan and executing the plan. Periodically, you must revise and adapt your plan to meet the demands of your present environment.
Be very clear about what you want to achieve.
Then establish a path to success.
You Must Take ACTION
In the words of Thomas H. Huxley, “The great end of life is not knowledge, but action.”
It’s important that you have a goal and move towards it;
Have a plan of action – you must know what needs to be done, when, by whom or with whom;
What difference will it make in your life if you succeed? You must know exactly WHY you need to succeed. This knowledge will increase your determination and inspire greater action.
You must know exactly what resources you need to succeed. Gather the resources and move swiftly in the direction of your goals;
Chase you dream with all your might and DO NOT quit.
If something works well, do it again. If it does not, try something different until you find the winning formula.
Practice the winning formula like crazy; and
Do all that is necessary to reach your goal.
P.S. Your actions must be ethical and within legal bounds.
What To Do When You’re
Not Reaching Your Goals
“Before you can produce new results, you must first realize that you are already producing results. They are just not the results you want.”
So begin by evaluating your current results.
Compare the results you are producing against your original action plan.
Study the market and keep yourself updated about the latest trends.
Don’t stick to a plan that is not moving you forward. Adapt and adjust.
There is constant modification and improvement in the world today. Find new and effective ways to produce better results, in less time, using fewer resources. This practice will increase you return on investment and massively improve productivity.
Observe the actions that bring you positive results – and do more of those.
Cut back on the dead wood. If an employee does not perform at work, they get fired. If one way of doing things is not working for you, get rid of it before it hampers your progress. Positive habits breed positive results, remember that.
Study your competition. They’re doing certain things because those things are working for them. Integrate their positive practices into your success strategy. Exploit their weaknesses and profit from them.
Goals Don’t Have To Be Cast In Stone
“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”
This is a significant quote by Maria Robinson.
Once you find your weaknesses, take immediate steps to correct them.
Replace dead wood with something more effective and profitable.
Ask for help. Rather avoid an error than pay a high price for an unnecessary blunder.
Treat your customers like gold – they are your most valuable commodity.
Do your research. Be flexible. Anticipate problems and take control before they become unmanageable disasters.
Change your game plan to meet the requirements of the climate in which you operate.
The most important component of any plan is the execution.
It is pointless for a plan to be beautiful on paper if no one ever implements it.
Steps to Take When Your Goals
Are Taking Too Long to Manifest
Gather your forces once more and keep. Forget circumstances, they only hold you back if you let them. Manipulate circumstances in your favor. Use your resources wisely.
Re-focus and aim for another shot.
Re-organize your resources and prepare for another battle.
Re-energize yourself physically, mentally and spiritually.
React NOT – be proactive and anticipate imminent obstacles before they trip you up and delay your success.
LEARN FROM THE PAST AND USE THOSE LESSONS
TO CARVE OUT A BETTER AND MORE PROSPEROUS FUTURE
FOR YOURSELF AND THE PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT.
In summary:
Know your target (define exactly what you want to achieve);
Take aim (organize the required resources and acquire the relevant skills);
Take action - frequently;
Reload: and
Repeat steps one to four.
