The Four (4) Agreements: Always Do Your Best

When you always do your best, you eliminate regrets. 

Even if you don’t quite hit your target, knowing that you

did your best will give you solace. 

Truth is, there’s always room for improvement. 

You best will also change over time.

As you gain more experience and skills, 

your best will get better. Keep raising the bar.

If you push too hard and try to do more than your best,

you run the risk of burning yourself out and injuring yourself

in the process.  Injuries will derail your progress

and cause you to lose sight of your goal.

On the other hand, if you do less than your best, you’ll be frustrated and feel guilty because you know you can do better.  No feeling is worse than the feeling that you’re cheating yourself.  There’s no win for you in that situation.  Your lose the long term value in that your results will suffer and you won't be the person you intend to be.  And you lose the short term value in that you will feel miserable

and guilty because you know that you could have done better.

Truth is, doing your best makes you fall in love

with your craft because the results come that much faster. 

You excel at what you do because you are having so much fun

doing it.  And in turn, when you love what you do, you tend

to excel and become better at it without much toil and effort.

There will still be mistakes.  But you won't have to beat yourself

up about it  because you’ve done all you can.  You know the goal, you’ve taken action to get a result, and now you can adjust

your actions accordingly to get back on track. 

This is the formula for success. 

Your best action, coupled with course adjustments along the way.

Your  best action will result in your best life.

Your best action is the habit that will give you the life,

wealth, body, and relationships you want.

Your best action is the thing that will give you the most satisfaction.
