Living Your Dreams

 

At this stage of my life, I'm reevaluating this whole

"think-big-and-the-world-will-bow-down

-and-worship-at-your-feet philosophy".

 

I don't know, maybe I just failed to make it work for myself

and now I'm spraying my poisonous negativity into your innocent,

yet ambitious little hearts.

Either way, figure out what works for you and do that.

 

As for me, I'm focusing my energy on the things I can control,

the things I can do now, the results I can measure, so I can quickly

pivot if I'm not getting the results I want.

I've got ambitious goals, don't get me wrong. But I'm spending less time in the clouds, daydreaming, and more time working the plan.

 

Anyway, back to the book at hand.

 

Much like Jim Rohn would say, It's not the possessions

you attain that matter, it's who you become in the process

of becoming rich and attaining said possessions.

Kiyosaki believes dreaming big dreams makes you a bigger person.

It's better to dream of a future that lies ahead of you

than to dream about your long gone glory days.

 

Success doesn't happen in a silo.

Once you have your big dream and a plan to achieve it,

the next step is to build a team to help you bring said dream to life. Could be a mastermind group, could be a coach/mentor,

or people you hire to perform certain functions.

Figure out what your dream requires

and then find people to perform these roles.

 

Kiyosaki mentions that he's a fan of MLM businesses because

they encourage big dreams, unlike other corporations

that kill people's dreams.
