Napoleon Hill says sex is not only useful for the purpose of busting a nut. There are three very important purposes of the emotion of sex.
1. The perpetuation of mankind.
2. The maintenance of health (as a therapeutic agent, it has no equal).
3. The transformation of mediocrity into genius through transmutation.
Sex Is A Superpower
In the author’s words," sex transmutation means the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression to thoughts of some other nature."
Yes, sex is an emotion before it becomes a physical activity.
People often risk almost everything just so they can indulge in sex.
Napoleon Hill says that all the cunning, courage, creativity men invest in the pursuit of sex can be redirected into the pursuit of riches. Sex, the physical activity, is fleeting. It's only for a couple of minutes and then it's done. Whereas, riches endure for decades, even generations.

How to Rise to the Level of Genius
Hill insists that the emotion of sex, properly directed, can elevate man to a state of a genius. He defines a genius as follows, "A man who has discovered how to increase the vibrations of thought to the point where he can freely communicate with the sources of knowledge not available through the ordinary rate of vibration of thought."
He says sex transmutation lets you tap into your sixth sense, which is your creative imagination. Creative imagination is responsible for all your aha moments, bouts of inspiration, hunches, ideas, inventions, etc. He says the sixth sense is the difference between a genius and ordinary folk.
If you want to rise to the level of genius, learn to listen to the still small voice inside of you. Hill tells us not to rely on logic or the reasoning capacity. It is flawed and lousy in comparison to the sixth sense. Sixth sense is connected to the infinite intelligence which contains all the knowledge ever known to man. Therefore, it is the most reliable and trustworthy.
Sexual Energy Makes You Confident
Personal magnetism, according to Napoleon Hill, is nothing more than sexual energy. Sexual energy, properly directed, gives one confidence, poise and attractiveness. Highly sexed people dress better, are well groomed, speak well, have high self-esteem, and carry themselves with dignity.
A man may decide to transmute his sex energy, though this requires massive willpower. It is a habit like any other, and it can be mastered with practice.
Napoleon Hill cautions that addiction to sex is real, and may be destructive, just like addiction to narcotics or alcohol.

Man's Greatest Motivating Force
Hill then takes things a step further and talks about the benefits of love, not just pure sex. Love gives men a higher purpose - its changes one in unimaginable ways. Love is spiritual, while sex is biological. Love brings one into communion with infinite intelligence. There are different Variations of love, each with their own benefits: love for your child, spouse, parent, friend, material possessions - all different expressions of love, and all powerful in their own ways.
